AUCA has the most vibrant and hardworking faculty in the region. Over 90% of the faculty are local, and over 90% of the courses are taught in English. Our faculty members are always pushing to improve, and do so every year through independent research and collaborative workshops with our partners at Bard. AUCA faculty challenge and engage with the students in class, making learning a collaborative exercise rather than the typical lecture model found in most Central Asian universities. In addition, AUCA has a renewed commitment to research that will benefit the region and create a hub for scholarship in Central Asia.
AUCA's faculty is young and talented, and on their hard work AUCA will build a world-class research hub in Central Asia. AUCA faculty members remain at the university because of the free and open academic environment, and the chance to work with the best students in the region.
Furthermore, sponsoring faculty gives you the opportunity to direct attention to and build support for issues that you are passionate about.
