Report on Research Workshop

Tian Shan Policy Center has developed a Report on Research Workshop Protecting Rights of Kyrgyz Labor Migrants: Identifying Key Challenges" held in September 2012 with participation of leading experts in the sphere of labor migration. The aim of the Workshop was to bring together research groups and experts in Kyrgyzstan to further refine the research agenda and prioritize the focus of our work in the coming year with a view to identifying the most critical issues to support a new migration policy in Kyrgyzstan that better protects Kyrgyz migrants and their families.

The Research Workshop Report reflects all issues discussed and identifies key challenges in the Research Agenda. All recommendation made by the participants are grouped into several directions and summarized into TSPC Research Agenda.
