American University of Central Asia - AUCA - Curriculum

TALENT Program Curriculum

Core curriculum revolves around major components of talent management such as:

  • strategic planning,
  • career planning,
  • talent recruitment and retention,
  • learning, motivation and communication skills.

Along with regular courses it's suggested to design training programs focusing on (1) developing right mindset of potential leaders in an organization, (2) improving interpersonal skills and negotiation skills, (3) boosting self-awareness and belief system, (4) developing emotional/social intelligence. As the latter is strongly underpinned by cultural settings proposing a training program is to take into account specifics of Central Asian cultures.  Human capital outflow represents actual problems in the region, in KG in particular. Special attention should be paid on how to find, recruit and retain talented employees.
