Air Quality Bishkek

About the project: Air pollution in Central Asian countries, especially in Kyrgyzstan, is a serious issue. Air Quality Bishkek uses evidence-based, citizen science to monitor hard particles in the atmosphere surrounding Bishkek. We are creating an extensive monitoring network throughout the city to collect air pollution data. Together with the local NGO Move Green and the partner from German NGO within the program “Prospects for Youth”, cross-cultural partnerships are established to manage monitoring devices.
