Student Achievement

 

Students may be placed on the President’s List or the Vice President’s List for excellent academic performance. This achievement is recognized on Knowledge Day during the fall semester. To be awarded a place on the President’s List, a student must have earned a minimum of 180 credits, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.8, and have no “F”, “X”, “N/P”, “W” grades on his/her transcript.

The Vice-President’s List is for second, third and fourth-year students. To be awarded a place on this list, a student must have earned a minimum of 60 credits a cumulative GPA of at least 3.67, and have no “F”, “X”, “N/P”, “W” grades on his/her transcript.

According to the standards established by the University, the maximum grade point average (GPA) is 4.0. Students whose GPA falls below 2.0 are subjected to a probationary period lasting one semester. Should a student's GPA not rise above 2.0 following this probationary period, as stipulated by University regulations, the student will face dismissal due to academic failure for one academic year. As of Fall 2024, the ICP students' GPAs and CGPAs are outlined below according to their respective levels of study.
