Dear AUCA students, the FYSem/SYSem Program cordially invites you to the 4th annual Seminar Conference for freshmen and sophomores, where outstanding works by our students will be presented. An exciting keynote speech will be given at the event, and FYS/SYS students will present their exemplary written papers on the topic of "Knowledge and Wisdom.

On March 19, 2026, Dr. Mairambek Nurgaziev from the Department of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science (ESCS) in the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), in collaboration with the World People United (WPU) Corporation under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea, installed solar street lights and solar floor lamps on the AUCA campus.

Get Ready for the AUCA Career Fair 2026!   The AUCA Career Development Center is excited to invite you to the Career Fair 2026 on April 16 from 15:00 to 18:00 at the AUCA campus!   This is your chance to explore career opportunities, connect with top employers, and gain invaluable insights from industry leaders.

On February 14, Valentine’s Day, AUCA hosted Open Doors Day, welcoming prospective students and their parents to explore academic opportunities and experience the university’s vibrant atmosphere.

    AUCA International and Business Law Program students participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition National Rounds held in Tashkent. Representing American University of Central Asia, the team demonstrated outstanding advocacy skills and exceptional legal analysis, winning First Place at the National Rounds.

The VICTORIA contest is the competition for the knowledge of European realities that is held among high school graduates of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as young people under 22 years’ old who have a certificate of secondary education, citizens of Kyrgyzstan who wish to receive a scholarship to study on the "LAS - European Studies" bachelor's program at the American University of Central Asia.

From January 12 to 16, 2026, the AUCA organized a series of webinars as part of the annual Scholarly Communication Week.  This year’s theme, “Scholarly Communication in the AI Era,” focused on the ongoing transformations in the field in the context of artificial intelligence development and brought together over 300 participants from various universities across the country.

January 20, 2026, Professor Cholpon Turdalieva organized a special lecture about the ancient Kyrgyz within the History of Kyrgyzstan Course and CLIO Project at the General Education Program.

 

 
Cholpon Kuskakbaeva is a graduate student in the Anthropology and International Development program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).
Her project focuses on chiy, a traditional Kyrgyz craft situated at the intersection of art, ecology, and cultural memory.
