AUCA students of MA in Applied Psychology will have an opportunity to study one semester abroad
Starting from the new academic year, AUCA students of MA in Applied Psychology will have an opportunity to study one semester and do research works abroad. Sooner, memorandum about it will be signed between AUCA and its old partner university – Indiana University.

Media, Applied Geology laboratories opened in AUCA
The American University of Central Asia officially opened two new laboratories: a geology laboratory for the Department of Applied Geology and a media laboratory for the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art.

AUCA held its first MUN conference
On June 1, 2016, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), in collaboration with Bard College, held its first Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Bishkek. The conference was targeted towards both local and some international high school students. Students from Bishkek’s local high schools were invited to participate in AUCA’s first Model United Nations high school program.

CEU Global Teaching Fellows Gain Valuable Experience at AUCA
Maria Temmes, doctoral candidate in the Department of Gender Studies, and Elena Popa, who received her MA in philosophy from CEU and successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in philosophy at CEU in January 2016, gained valuable experience at AUCA this academic year through CEU’s Global Teaching Fellowship Program (GTFP).

Seth Fearey: “Everyone should study MBA”
Seth Fearey has already lived and worked in the Kyrgyz Republic for seven years, making a name for himself as one of our student’s favorite professors in AUCA’s MBA program. Seth listens to his students and answers their questions, drawing from his broad experience as a manager, researcher, and specialist in PR and marketing at several companies.
