  "Unveiling Global Dynamics, Examining Local Realities: Join Us in Political Exploration." Studying International and Comparative Politics at AUCA June 03 Monday, 18:00 Bishkek time.

 
In 2023, the Department of International and Comparative Politics (ICP) signed the exchange agreement with the Political Science Department of the Universite Catholique de l’Ouest (Catholic University of West – UCO) in France.

In a recent diplomatic rendezvous at AUCA, His Excellency Mr. Hasan Ali Zaigham, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, engaged in a dialogue about Pakistan's strategic vision for Central Asia, emphasizing the paramount importance of connectivity.

  On March 6, AUCA, the Faculty of International and Comparative Politics, hosted another lecture as part of the Ambassador Talks series. The lecture featured Maksat Tentimishov, former director of the 4th Political Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

      His Excellency, Mr. François Delahousse, graced the premises of the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) with his presence, as introduced by the esteemed President, Dr. Timothy Edward O’Connor.

 
 

Dr. Görkem Atsungur, Chair of the International and Comparative Politics and Dean of the Social Sciences Division, has received a research fellowship at Metharath University in Thailand (MRU) from 2024 until 2027.

      At the heart of academic exploration and global engagement, our university had the honor of hosting yet another enlightening series of Ambassador Talks. The International and Comparative Politics department arranges the event in close cooperation with the President's Office at the American University of Central Asia.

During the Fall 2023 semester, the International and Comparative Politics Department faculty members actively take part in professional activities to enrich their professional experience and knowledge, enlarge the network of professional activities and further collaborations with European and American institutions, and bring new opportunities for the AUCA students and faculty by providing a high level of quality in teaching and research in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.

  On Wednesday, October 25, the International and Comparative Politics Department, in collaboration with the Office of the President, continued its prestigious Ambassador Talks Series, featuring the esteemed presence of His Majesty, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr.

 

On October 23, 2023, the International and Comparative Politics (ICP) department, in collaboration with the President’s Office at AUCA, launched the “Ambassador Talks” Series, which became the first guest lecture series with distinguished Ambassadors to the Kyrgyz Republic.
