AUCA staff and tutors assisted thesis writers at Senior Night, a two-part event intended to support students in the research and writing process. WARC Director Mariya Antonova delivered presentations on how to effectively paraphrase, how to avoid plagiarism, and how to arrive at a research question. The WARC's coordinator, Erica Eisen, spoke to students about the WARC's online resources and demonstrated how to use citation managers. After the presentation section of the evening was over, WARC staff and tutors conducted one-on-one sessions with students to discuss topics such as identifying a research question, finding relevant secondary literature, and the like.
