On April 11, the AUCA library hosted an evening of poetry, "We Dedicate Poems to Spring.” Students, faculty, and staff gathered in the library's multimedia room to read poems by their favourite authors or share poems of their composition.

April is traditionally considered the month of books because two book holidays are celebrated: April 2 - Children's Book Day, and April 23 - World Book Day. Combining these two holidays, the AUCA Library held a Book Day on April 13.

A new, very useful book has appeared on the shelves of the AUCA library - “Republican Mathematical Olympiads 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Since childhood, every one of us has a special place for books in our heart: there are favorite ones, rejected, educational, interesting, important, forgotten and many more!

April 23 is World Book and Copyright Day celebrated internationally to pay tribute to books and authors.

Alumni Relations office together with the AUCA Library have started a series of events called “Alumni Talks in the Library''. The AUCA alumni are invited to give presentations about their academic and professional experiences to our current students. February 30, the first guest, Sveto M. Ishoq conducted talks with students.

Open Access Program coordinator at EIFL International Library Consortium held a one-day training on “Open Science” for faculty, librarians, and researchers from AUCA and other institutions of Kyrgyzstan.

The event will bring together 70 members of the EIFL library network from over 30 countries to discuss open access, academic resources and publishing, digital research management, copyright, and digital literacy.
