On December 2, a guest lecture by Ryan Schmedding, a researcher at the US Embassy, was held in an online format, organized by the AUCA Center for Environmental Studies and Development (CED), the Alliance of Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic for Green Economy and Sustainable Development (AVZUR) together with the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

On Thursday, December 2nd, Jennifer Tasker, the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy held a guest lecture in the AUCA within an OSUN Global Citizenship course which is taught by Bermet Tursunkulova, the Director of Development office.
 

Literature Week is a part of CASI’s Workshop on Literature and History. Supported by a generous contribution from Matthew Nimetz, the aim of the workshop is to create a community of junior scholars and advanced graduate students committed to studying literature and to applying literary tools and methodologies to the study of literary art in the Central Asian past.

We invite everyone to the guest lecture by Ryan Schmedding, U.S. Embassy air quality science fellow. Ryan Schmedding will deliver a lecture on climate change and air quality and its health impacts.

AUCA IBL students will have an opportunity to attend the guest lecture on the standard of expropriation in international investment law by Csongor István Nagy at 15:35 on November 19, 2021.

On October 26, an open lecture was given by the Professor of Liberal Arts and Sciences Program Cholpon Chotaeva within her Introduction to Peace and Conflict Studies course.

Last Saturday, an event dedicated to the memory of Fatima Natasha Khalil was held in the Elm Grove (Карагачевая Роща). It was organized by the AUCA's Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) in cooperation with the French-Kyrgyz Ecotourism Association (AFKE)

On September 29, the Head of UNFPA Kyrgyzstan Country Office, Mr. Azamat Baialinov visited the AUCA campus with a guest lecture on "Global Citizenship" within the Bard Network Course, the lecture was prepared for AUCA students on a hybrid basis. 

To help newcomers adapt to the walls of the campus, AUCA hosts an Orientation Week, which began today, August 16. Over the next two weeks, our freshmen will get acquainted with the openness and traditions of AUCA.
