Nargiza Bolotbekova, student of European Studies department, is awardee of Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC), which provides travel grants for students every month. Nargiza became SILC awardee in September.

Master Class on Documentary Filmmaking and the Right to Development Programme hosted by Journalism and Mass Communications Department and Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan in the frameworks of International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights 2014. Master Class will be conducted by filmmakers Miki Mistrati (Denmark), Jürgen Schaflechner (Germany), Victor Jaschke (Austria), Elyor Nematov (Uzbekistan) and Chingiz Narynov (Kyrgyzstan).
