On September 13-15, 2016 visiting speaker from the American University in Cairo (AUC) Doris Jones will be offering workshops for faculty at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). Jones’s visit is made possible through a grant from the AMICAL consortium and the kind contribution of AUCA.

Monitoring and evaluation of the effective implementation of the Kyrgyz Republic laws should be conducted along with the proactive engagement of public authorities
Tian–Shan Policy Center under the American University of Central Asia (TSPC AUCA) in cooperation and with the support of International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Kyrgyz Republic conducted one-day training seminars in Balykchi and Osh cities.

AUCA students and a student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies volunteered to attend the ELP project Ala Archa
Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan’s environment.

Psychology Department held its 2016 Psychology Summer School
June 6-11, AUCA’s Psychology Department held its 2016 Psychology Summer School to introduce the Psychological Assessment and Training Institute (PATI), promote high-quality psychological services in Kyrgyzstan, enable professional development for mental health specialists and personal development for parents, and, finally, to contribute to AUCA’s community outreach.
