AUCA hosted the “Innovations in Public Administration and Services” conference
The conference attended by Dosaly Esenaliev, Head of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Ex-President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbaeva, Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of AUCA Chingiz Shamshiev, as well as representatives of government authorities, IT companies and NGOs.

"There is no development in the country if a single person cannot develop spiritually". Aktan Arym Kubat presented his masterpiece "Centaur" to AUCA students.
During the one and a half hours, students and faculty watched the dramatic story. The film did not leave anyone indifferent, and its ending made many of them cry.

CELEBRATE THE LAST DAY OF CLASS WITH CENTAUR!
The Department of TV, Cinema and Media Arts and Vice President Chingiz Shamshiev invite you to a post-show talk and screening of the feature film CENTAUR, directed by prominent Kyrgyz director Aktan Arym Kubat. The event will take place Friday, December 14th, 11-1:00 in AUCA’s 4th floor Conference Hall.

AUCA students took part in the geological field excursion to the Boom Gorge
On Sunday, November 25 the Department of Applied Geology organized the field excursion to Boom Gorge for students. During the excursion, students were able to observe the geological outcrops of rocks in the field. They've learned how to use geological and topographic maps, GPS and geological compass, and described the structural relationships of various rock types.

AUCA Crisis Game 2018
On November 16-17, the International and Comparative Politics Department held its annual Crisis Games at the American University of Central Asia. Open to all undergraduate students interested in politics, the games simulated a crisis scenario in East Asia and invited the students to represent and act on behalf of the key actors in the region.
