“My favorite class is definitely the one about Migration,” Mathilde Mallet.
Mathilde Mallet is an exchange student from France. She studies Social and Political sciences, majoring in Political Humanities at Sciences Po, Dijon. Before she didn't know anything about Central Asia, and now she is discovering many new things never known and thought about before. Choosing the university in CA, she realized the AUCA was the only option for her and a great opportunity to take classes related to her major, to discover new topics and different ways of thinking.

The research addressed the question of whether kinship networks help promote entrepreneurship or impede its development in Kyrgyzstan.

Creative Writing Club Draws Students from across the University
A new initiative at AUCA this semester, has drawn an audience of students from across the university to participate in creative exercises and hear from professionals about their writing experience. The club is a joint effort of the Academic Advising Center and the Writing & Academic Resource Center (WARC), which also offers writing tutoring.

On November 19, Edil Baysailov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United Kingdom was received by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. The news was published on the official social networks of the Royal family. The meeting took place at Buckingham Palace.

School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at International Franchise and Trade EXPO

AUCA Students Win First Accounting Championship in Bishkek
Students swept to victory in the First Accounting Championship in Bishkek, an academic competition held on AUCA’s campus this past weekend. The competition had about 200 people register from both Russian- and English-language universities across Kyrgyzstan.
