Representatives from the U.S. Department of State in Kabul at AUCA
March 2 and 3, 2016, two representatives from the U.S. Department of State in Kabul, Grants Program Specialist Lynn Walroth and Cultural Affairs Assistant Janet Thompson, visited AUCA. The goal of their visit was to checkup on existing policies and discuss ideas for the future of the partnership.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will visit gala-opening of the AUCA new campus as part of a trip to Central Asia
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan from October 28 to November 3. In Bishkek, the Secretary will participate in the opening of the new campus of the American University of Central Asia and dedicate the new chancery of the U.S. Embassy.

On September 8, 2015 a group of enthusiastic students from the American University of Central Asia had the opportunity to have a conversation with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Nisha Desai Biswal, and the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Sheila Gwaltney.

Svetlana Dzardanova: "AUCA played a life-changing role"
Svetlana Dzardanova is a 2007 graduate of AUCA’s Psychology department. Originally, from Turkmenistan, Svetlana currently lives in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. After graduation from AUCA she matriculated to the MA program at Bishkek’s OSCE Academy and was offered a job at the Academy upon graduation, where she currently works as Research and Training Coordinator.

No longer a foreigner, but a Central Asian citizen
Originally from New Rochelle, NY, Neil is a 4th year university student majoring in International Relations and Russian with the focus on the former Soviet Union. It’s been almost a year since he arrived in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on the scholarship to study Central Asian Politics, Russian and Uzbek.

Opening of the international conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM)
Yesterday, June 3rd, marks the opening of the first international conference in the Kyrgyz Republic on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM), with a theme of "2015 LSCM Seminar: Challenges, Innovations, and Practical Advice" at the City Hotel in Bishkek.
