On November 12-13, 2024, Dr. Buğra Güngör, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, and Dr. Görkem Atsungur, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, Chair of the ICP Department, attended the 5th Annual CASNiG (Central Asian Studies Network in Germany) Conference at the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) in Berlin, Germany.

      On November 18th, the University of York Law School hosted the Sixth Global Day of Action for Climate Justice (GDA 6), bringing together law students and clinics worldwide to focus on the pressing issue of water in the context of the climate emergency.

On October 9-10, 2024, Shakhzoda Mirakova, a student at the American University of Central Asia, proudly represented Central Asia at the prestigious High-Level Youth Event in Brussels, Belgium. As the only delegate from her region, Shakhzoda took on the critical responsibility of voicing the unique perspectives and concerns of Central Asian youth on a global platform.
