On March 14, the DAAD delegation paid an official visit to AUCA. The delegation, which consisted of 8 people, included representatives of various universities and non-university research institutions, associations, institutions and governmental organizations in Germany.

On March 16th, the AUCA Library hosted a guest lecture titled "Literature in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" by Dr. Dennis Yi Tenenan from Columbia University. The lecture was attended by AUCA students, faculty, and staff members.

First AUCA Spelling Bee Held
This March AUCA’s Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) and the New Generation Academy (NGA) held the first university-wide Spelling Bee competition. It was a trilingual event, with contestants competing in one or more of the three language categories: English, Kyrgyz, and Russian.

"Literature in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" talk by Dr. Dennis Yi Tenenan
Computers love to read. And it’s not just fiction before going to bed. They read voraciously, all literature, all the time, in every sense of the word—novels, encyclopedias, academic articles, private messages, advertisements, love letters, news stories, hate speech, and crime reports—everything is written, no matter how insignificant.
