AUCA hosted the former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Otorbaev Djoomart Kaipovich, on Thursday, April 12. He presented his book "Central Asia's Economic Rebirth in the Shadow of the New Great Game."

  BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 29, 2023 – more than 2 thousand people participated in the large-scale creative industries festival Create4-2023 "Jaratman Toi". Festival Create4 is a unique, extensive platform in support of the development of the creative economy of the country and the entire community of creative people, initiated by the United Nations Development Program in Kyrgyzstan and the Association of Creative Industries in 2022.

The presentation of the Paper2U project
The presentation of the Paper2U project was held at AUCA. For about half a year, containers with the inscription: “Receipts only” have stood in different places at the university. Not everyone knows why these containers appeared at AUCA and why they collect receipts separately from other waste paper.

Book Day at AUCA Library
 
April is traditionally considered the month of books because two book holidays are celebrated: April 2 - Children's Book Day, and April 23 - World Book Day. Combining these two holidays, the AUCA Library held a Book Day on April 13.

AUCA expresses sincere condolences to the family and friends of Professor Mary Schweitzer
Mary Schweitzer, 86, died on April 20, 2023, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. 
Mary was born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 15, 1936, to Leonard Joseph Schweitzer and Dorothy  Drexler Schweitzer.

Transfer Day at AUCA
On April 12, 2023, the AUCA Academic Advising office hosted the first annual Transfer Day, where students had a chance to pick up information and ask questions about transfer between departments.
