AUCA At The Museum

Welcome to American University of Central Asia’s celebration of its 20^th Anniversary. In only 20 years AUCA has become an indispensable institution in Central Asia as it continues to lead and develop leaders for the transformation of the region. AUCA At The Museum acknowledges the vision and contribution of all those who have made AUCA the best university in Central Asia, and provides a space for everyone to make a small contribution to the future home of AUCA as it opens the doors on its next 20 years.

The Exhibits

AUCA At The Museum tells the story of AUCA in 6 movements:

• Beginnings: Liberal Arts in Central Asia
• Students
• Faculty and Staff
• Alumni
• Bard Partnership
• Future

Each movement displays one aspect of what makes AUCA unique: the initial energy and passion of the Kyrgyz-American Faculty; the talented and creative student body; the dedicated and generous faculty and staff; the intrepid and successful alumni; the investment and good faith of Bard College in AUCA; and, finally,AUCA’s commitment to leading innovation and change both in the region and around the world.

AUCA would like to thank all of its local and international supporters for making AUCA what it is today, especially the Open Society Foundations and the United States Agency for International Development.
