AUCA at the Hyatt
Authentic hospitality is the term used to describe the mission of Hyatt hotels. That is exactly what AUCA students received when attending a company tour on September 28. The hotel staff greeted them with a friendly smile and invited them on a journey ‘behind the scenes’.
A lucky group of AUCA students got a unique chance to peek inside one of the hotel giants. The tour began with a brief history of the hotel, and students listened attentively to the tale of the ‘birth’ of Hyatt. They also learned a number of interesting facts about the hotel structure and organization. As it turns out, Hyatt is more than just a business, as they are continuously involved in various community projects. Hyatt Regency Bishkek, for example, has the patronage of an orphanage.
Following the theoretical part of the excursion, students embarked on an exciting tour of the facilities, during which they saw the hustle-and-bustle of the hotel business. Impressed with what they saw, students left the hotel grateful to the administration for this tour.
The event was organized by the Advising and Career Services office.
