The Legal Clinic of AUCA
March 26, 2024
On March 14th, the Legal Clinic of AUCA organized a video screening and Q&A session with students. The event featured a public screening of videos on projects funded by the Presidential Research and Education Fund 2023-2024.
The project's primary purpose was to create a series of videos that would assist people in understanding some of the most current legal issues. Students from AUCA worked tirelessly to prepare video series on topics such as legal processes for divorce, domestic violence, work registration processes for foreigners, etc. The informative and tempting videos provided valuable insights into complex legal processes. Viewers gained a better understanding of their rights and responsibilities in various legal situations.
The Legal Clinic aims to solve social problems by providing free legal aid to the socially vulnerable part of the population. Our work falls under the Service to Society/ Civic Engagement components of the mission of AUCA. While working on real cases of clients, students at the Legal clinic apply the knowledge and skills acquired within the courses of the IBL Department by providing oral and written legal advice on various legal issues under the supervision of academic and practicing lawyers.
