On February 13th, the UrbanEyes project was presented within the walls of AUCA. AUCA is a proud partner of this innovative project, which aims to provide a unique online and mobile platform for creating and visualizing the performance of Bishkek city.
The event started with Shamil Ibragimov, one of the founders of UrbanEyes, explaining all the features and capabilities of the platform. He highlighted how this tool can revolutionize how our city is managed and empower citizens to actively participate in shaping their urban environment.
The UrbanEyes platform offers a comprehensive look at various metrics that contribute to the overall well-being of a city. Users can access data on air quality, the emotional condition of the city, cleanliness score, sidewalks quality score, and much more. This information is crucial for city planners, policymakers, and residents alike as they work towards creating more sustainable and livable urban environments.
One of the critical aspects of UrbanEyes is its ability to crowdsource data from residents by allowing users to report on various aspects of the city. UrbanEyes creates a real-time feedback loop to help identify problem areas and prioritize solutions.
AUCA's partnership with UrbanEyes is a testament to the university's commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability in Kyrgyzstan. By supporting projects like UrbanEyes, AUCA is helping to create a more transparent and responsive urban environment for its students and the wider community.
