On August 21-25, 2023 Saikal Anvar kyzy, SEBA Assistant professor and MBA Director participated in leadership Academy for Development (LAD) program - a project of the Center for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL), part of @stanford Stanford University’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.
Saikal went through a thorough selection process amoung among 300+ mid- and high-level government officials and local business and civil society leaders to take part in a five-day intensive program was organized by Central Asian Policy Studies (CAPS Unlock) Foundation with the support of Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
The goal of this program is to address how government can encourage and enable the private sector to play a larger, more constructive role as a force for economic growth and development. Guided by world-reknown political scientist and writer, Dr. Francis Fukuyama, and prominent Stanford professors Dr. Eric Jensen and Dr. Mary Hilderbrand, LAD provided participants with an analytical framework to build leadership abilities and operate effectively under adverse conditions.

In October 2023, Saikal and fellow LAD-alumni are will organize a consecutive trainings at AUCA on valueable information shared at LAD program.
