Shadiya Kurbanova: "I am grateful to AUCA, OSUN and the Talent Management Program for the opportunity and support to immerse myself in a new culture."

Shadiya Kurbanova is a student of a Talent Management program who has successfully completed her 1 year of international exchange full granted program at one of the highest rated universities in Latin America, Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia, Bogotá). During her exchange program she was able to become fluent in Spanish and enroll in a diverse range of courses, explore various countries of South America and expand her global network.

"The exchange program at Uniandes was a life-changing experience." I was able to go further into my field of study and develop a greater grasp of the subject matter by immersing myself in Colombian culture during my exchange program, which was a wonderfully amazing experience. I was able to interact with the dynamic Colombian community by participating in cultural activities and festivals. My exchange program gave a wonderful chance for language development because it was conducted in Spanish. Interacting with local students and managing daily life in Spanish enhanced my language abilities and increased my confidence in properly speaking. Traveling helped me to have a better understanding of South America's cultural and environmental heritage. Collaboration on initiatives and interactions with people from various backgrounds enlarged my horizons.

I am grateful to AUCA, OSUN and the Talent Management Program for the opportunity and support to immerse myself in a new culture. This exchange program has undoubtedly influenced my future academic and career goals, and I am excited to incorporate the valuable lessons and experiences into my future endeavors.
