Interviewing in a Virtual World: Best Practices for Web-Based Interviews
March 31, 2023
Do you want to strengthen your online interview skills? We invite you to join an online guest lecture on April 13th on "Interviewing in a Virtual World: Best Practices for Web-Based Interviews".
In today's digital world, online interviews have become a regular/common part of the recruitment process. Especially if you are aiming at the international labor market, the skills of self-presentation during online interviews are essential.
The lecture will be led by Erin Cannan, Vice President for Civic Engagement, and Jovanny Suriel, Assistant Dean of Civic Engagement and Director of Career Development at Bard College.
Erin links the liberal arts with civic engagement through community partnerships, programming, opportunities and resource development, taking full advantage of Bard's vast network around the globe. As an inaugural staff member of Bard's Center for Civic Engagement (CCE), Erin Cannan has strengthened Bard’s local, national and global partnerships with a focus on skill-building and access for students and faculty.
Jovanny Suriel also oversees the Engaged Liberal Arts & Sciences (ELAS) Program that supports faculty and community-based learning for students at Bard. Previously, Jovanny served as the Deputy Director at the Center for Career and Professional Development at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at CUNY.
