Techno Women Kyrgyzstan 2023!

On January Saturday 28th, the American University of Central Asia with the Techno Women community held incredibly significant event TechnoWomen Kyrgyzstan 2023! This occasion is very special since a new generation of women movement originates from this day in Kyrgyz Republic! The main mission of Techno Women movement is to open a new opportunities to women and girls in the field of high technology.
On a sunny Saturday morning, the walls of AUCA were filled with needlework shops, installations dedicated to women’s power and of course the people who came to listen TWtalks and be inspired for new achievements. The event was opened by Aijan Chynybaeva, the AUCA Board of Trustees member, with a speech on female leadership, she also welcomed and thanked all the gathered participants, speakers, volunteers, team of organizers and the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan who supported this initiative.
The speakers of the event were outstanding personalities in the field of high technology not only from Kyrgyzstan, but also from Kazakhstan, and there were even representatives who flew from the USA to speak at the event. Aziza Shuzheeva, the president of the non-profit organization TechnoWomen Kazakhstan, in her speech, she shared information about what are the possibilities in the association of progressive women in Central Asia, and afterwards the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Sharshenova Indira Zhanusakova was invited to the stage to sign a memorandum on the creation of TechnoWomen Kyrgyzstan!
Aliya Chynybaeva, the Chairman of Halyk Bank Kyrgyzstan and the main initiator of the TechnoWomen Kyrgyzstan movement, shared her own experience in digital, and showed by a real example how Halyk Bank gets rid of plastic and works towards digitalization. Right on the stage, macaroons from Sabina were sold for 1 soms for those participants who had virtual cards. She also mentioned — “Halyk Bank has been operating in Kyrgyzstan since 2004, and for 16 years before the transformation into digital, the number of customers was only sixty thousand. When we started the transformation, in a year and a half we attracted one hundred and fifty thousand customers.”
The event aroused great interest, the number of seats at the AUCA forum was packed to the very end, and all because the list of speakers was diverse and abundant: Dinara Ruslan — CEO of “Codify” IT company, Nargiza Jakypova — Co-founder of “It-run”, Asem Nurgalieva — CEO of Kazpost Digital, Janara Izimova — Expert in Digital Transformation, Jarkyn Sheglova — ambassador of Google Women Techmakers, Laura Salamat — Enterprise Architect, Asel Marchenko — IT director at Halyk Bank, Elmira Raspekova — Chairman of the Management Board Otbasy Bank, Madina Dusmagambetova — Deputy General director of “Documentolog”, Dayana Asanova — founder of IT startups, and the alumni of AUCA Nora Azygalieva — CEO and Co-founder of Namba One.
After the completion of the official part of the event, the organizers of the event solemnly cut a cake in honor of the birth of TechnoWomen Kyrgyzstan, and also took a shared photo with the participants of the event. TechnoWomen Kyrgyzstan — create, surprise, believe in yourself.
