Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology welcomes applications from promising students of Anthropology, Technology and International Development Department at AUCA. The aim of this scholarship is to support students who show commitment to and excellence in anthropology. This year, the scholarship fund raised over $3000. The amount of the award(s) will depend on the quality and quantity of applications. 

 Eligibility Students entering the second, third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in the Anthropology, Technology and International Development at AUCA are welcome to apply. Applicants must be citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Application assessment.

Mary Schweitzer Scholarship undertakes a detailed qualitative assessment according to the following criteria:

• Academic excellence of the applicant (students with relative higher GPA will be given preferences)
• Commitment to anthropology 
• Financial need 

Application deadline.

Students can get an application form by contacting us at alumni.caa@googlemail.com. A complete application should be sent to the same email address and be received by October 25, 2021, midnight Bishkek time. Late applications will not be accepted. 
Applicants will be notified about the results at the beginning of December 2021.
