AUCA grieves with Kabul University

The American University of Central Asia expresses sincere condolences to families, friends, and loved ones of students who were killed and wounded in a terrorist attack on the Kabul University in Afghanistan on Monday following multiple blasts and a gunfight.

It's terrifically sad that over 22 innocent lives of students and professors were lost at the age of human scientific advances, educational development, and high social awareness. The world witnesses a huge fall of all ethical and human positions, so that is extremely important to raise an educated and enlightened generation of young leaders who will build a peaceful world.

On Monday, AUCA students and alumni lost friends and family members. Yesterday, they came together in front of the university to commemorate witnesses of the attack. AUCA wishes those injured a speedy recovery and grieves with Kabul University.
