On June 4, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic presented letters of commendation to universities and broadcasting companies that took part in shooting video lessons for schoolchildren in the framework of distance education.
Minister Kanybek Isakov presented letters of thanks to AUCA Vice-President/COO Chingiz Shamshiev, PR office designer Bakhrom Tursunov and PR office videographer Shokhzoda Rafieva.
The American University of Central Asia took an active part in the organization of distance learning for schoolchildren. Since March 30, AUCA has been shooting video tutorials. In a short time, under the state of emergency, video lessons were filmed in the Russian language for math grades 5-6, algebra grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11; geometry grades 7, 8, 9, 10,11; physics grades 7, 8, 9, 10,11, as well as natural science lessons in the Kyrgyz language for 5th grade.
During this unprecedented time, AUCA was happy to provide real assistance in organizing distance learning in schools of the Kyrgyz Republic and contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
