The Fourth Business Advisory Council meeting organized by the School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (SEBA) was held on October 16, 2019, at the American University of Central Asia.
Fourth BAC Meeting gathered officials from the British Embassy of Bishkek, Charles Garret, HM Ambassador, and the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Nicole Holler, Cultural Affairs Officer, President of AUCA Andrew Kuchins and Vice-President for Academic Affairs of AUCA Nurgul Ukueva, the leaders of corporate, small and medium enterprise community of Kyrgyzstan as well as faculty and staff of SEBA.
The meeting was traditionally chaired by Edil Ajibaev, CEO & Owner of picVpic. The Chair facilitated a dynamic discussion of trends in business that form a demand for the workforce locally and transnationally. Business community leaders gave a valuable input on what trajectory SEBA should follow to take on the challenges posed by the labor market, to catch up with the trend in education that produces the best human capital.
SEBA Team shared progress in regards to comments of previous year BAC meeting and emphasized that continuing collaboration is vital between AUCA and the industry- the main beneficiary of future AUCA graduates.
