Winners of Bard Essay Contest

"The Bard Center for Civic Engagement has recently announced the results of its essay contest ("What would you tell the world's seven-billionth person so that he/she can be a responsible global citizen?") for students in the Bard network of institutions.

Mikhail Shakhnazarov, ICP 109, currently studying at Bard College, has been declared a winner alongside other three students from Bard College in Annandale, and Bard High School Early College in Manhattan.

Ulukbek Abdubaliev - BA 111, Yelena Gareyeva - Anth 111, and Zhibek Akmatova - Eco 11 have come runners-up among other seventeen students from all seven partner institutions participating in the contest.

Both winners and runners-up have received award certificates and cash prizes."
