AUCA has launched a project oriented towards young leaders of Central Asia and Afghanistan with the goal of strengthening the regional youth network, trust and active participation of youth in civic enagement

Project description: The YCCAA project includes a series of workshops, trainings and seminars, debate tournaments, diplomacy-aimed events and small-grant projects in civic engagement, all in support of reinforcing trust, mutual understanding and cooperation between Central Asian (CA) youth representatives.
During the period of October 27th, 2016 - June 27th, 2017 undergraduate students from KIMEP, AlmaU, UCA, and AUCA with diverse backgrounds and majors will come together in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul to participate in a series of workshops, seminars and events dedicated to the following topics in relation to Central Asian states and Afghanistan:
We are looking for young leaders to fill the positions of 30 members of the Youth Council of Central Asia and Afghanistan and become a core working group actively taking part in and leading the YCCAA throughout this period of time. Five members of this YCCAA will come from KIMEP.
YCCAA members will be involved in projects bringing in prominent groups of experts on Central Asia and Afghanistan, inspiring and mentoring young leaders, building networks, cultivating empathy and widening our circles with compassion. By the end of the project, the YCCAA members are expected to develop their own recommendations that can make Central Asian states and Afghanistan cooperate more with one another.
The benefits of being a member of YCCAA:
By the end of the project, AUCA will provide certificates of successful completion and recommendation letters to YCCAA members. Moreover, outstanding YCCAA members will be recommended for internships they wish to apply for.
