April 15, 2016
On April 23, 2016, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) will be holding a Career Fair open to the community. Gulnur Esenalieva, the director of AUCA’s Career Center spoke to us about the value of career fairs and why students should be excited to attend.
What is a Career Fair?
A career fair gives seniors a unique opportunity to meet with a variety of companies, find internships, and look into Master’s programs. Besides employers, representatives from international universities will be participating in the Fair.
The central purpose of a career fair is to create a platform for students and employers to interact. Through our career fair, businesses can help students and alumni develop connections with companies, network, and get assistance with job placement. Career fairs are also helpful for employers. They can easily find skilled workers and share their career opportunities.
What companies and universities will be represented at the Fair?
About 60 organizations are participating in the Career Fair, including local and international companies, international projects, and non-governmental organizations.

Anything you want to add?
This event is open to everyone. AUCA students, and seniors will have the opportunity to meet with employers and network. A selection of outstanding professionals and speakers will give talks on job placement, entrepreneurship and personal development.
In addition, we will be conducting mock interviews and teaching students how to successfully interview for a real job.
