February 12, 2016 students from Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management, accompanied by instructor Kanaiym Kydyralieva, visited one of the global brand production plants Coca-Cola Bishkek Bottlers (CCBB). CCBB is one of the leading investment companies in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The plant tour was initiated and organized by the department of Business Administration at AUCA.
Students listened to a presentation about the company and then had a tour of the production line. After the visit the students wrote reports, in which they analyzed the processes at the plant.
“From the very beginning of our excursion it was clearly illustrated for us that this company is very serious when it comes to security. Near the main gates they checked our entire class’s IDs before letting us come in,” Vladislav Filippov.
“Every hour, Coca Cola Bishkek Bottlers produce 28000 soft drinks, which are then transported to the company’s distributors,” Zuhro Ganjibekova, Osiya Olimnazar.
“They had many big machines working 24 hours a day. Each machine had once specific job. For example, one machine filled the bottles with soft drinks, one divided the bottles into many pairs, and at the end, one machine packed dozen of bottles together,” Zukhro Mingboeva, Meher Bano Mirzayee.
