On December 15, 2015 AUCA Alumna Guzyal Hill held the lecture “How to Get a PhD in Australia” for AUCA students, faculty, and alumni. Hill is a lawyer and a PhD student researching the harmonization of federal legislation at Charles Darwin University, Darwin, Australia.
In 2002, Hill graduated from AUCA’s Law department (IBL), and in 2005 she moved to Australia. Hill has worked as an in-house lawyer, a lawyer for a private commercial firm, and as a legislative drafter for the Office of Parliamentary Counsel. She lives in Australia with her husband and two children.
From Guzyal Hill:
“AUCA education and education from other universities have allowed me to travel the world, be with the man of my dreams, and work in the best offices in Bishkek, Moscow and Darwin, Australia. That is why I have shared with students and alumni of AUCA how to get a Master’s through Research or a Doctor of Philosophy from Charles Darwin University (or really any other university) in Australia.”
