"Cup of Friendship" between students of AUCA & AGUPKR

On March 14, 2015, the stadium of the Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek, hosted the "Cup of Friendship" between the American University of Central Asia and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyz Republic. AUCA, co-organizer of this sporting event with the sport Newspaper Top.kg, won the game 3:1.

The two teams competed with the top-level guest players from the national Kyrgyz football team among which are: Azamat Baimatov FC Dordoi”, Daniel Tego FC “Dordoi”, Bakyt Sharshenbek uulu FC “Alga”, Ramzi Nabiev and Elzar Toktaliev. Professional players joined both teams  and switched sides at the end of the first half. The group of cheerleaders “Evangel” supported our AUCA team and performed at the opening of the Cup and during the breaks. After the game, Dinara Orozbaeva, director of the PR department, handed the “Cup of Friendship" to the winners and thanked all players.

Players from the national team thanked the  organizers for the invitation, and expressed their gratitude for the quality of the games and for the organization:

Azamat Baimatov: We have played very nice games during this Cup of Friendship. I really enjoyed it. The AUCA team is obviously composed of skilled players. It has potential and ambition, and I think that it will continue to do great. 


Daniel Tego: I enjoyed the game. Thank you for the invitation. I wish the best of luck to both teams!

Bakyt Sharshanbek uulu: Thank you very much for the invitation. The AUCA team played a great game. The team is well coordinated and demonstrated an efficient teamwork. The Academy team, apparently a new team, still has some work to do, but I think its players will show their best for the upcoming games. 


Mirzahit Myrzaev, the Academy’s team captain: the game was great, it is just a shame we lost. All in all, I liked the game and want to thank the organizers. We are looking forward for more friendly competitions like that one. Thanks to all!

Davran Kendzhakhunov, captain of the team of AUCA: The tactic was suggested by two professional players. It worked out and we made it.
