The NGA community at AUCA expresses utmost gratitude to Mr. Wuria Karadaghy, Senior Advisor to UNDP Kyrgyzstan at United Nations, for his inspiring Public Lecture, delivered to the AUCA community on Monday, October 20th, 2014.
His charismatic style, patience and immense forthcomingness exhibited during, as well as after his Public Lecture has determined NGA students to frankly declare that Mr. Wuria Karadaghy has become a role model to them, since Monday night.
Mr. Wuria Karadaghy delivered a complex presentation of the UNDP’s mission in Kyrgyzstan and in Central Asia. He then exemplified his current activities with past achievements in South Africa, East Asia, South Asia (Afghanistan). The Afghan community in the NGA Program had the opportunity to pose a variety of questions related to Mr. Karadaghy’s direct past and present activities in Afghanistan, within the Development Program.
All NGA students’ questions were provided with complex, detailed answers and as a result, students expressed their enthusiasm and motivation to commence internship programs with the UNDP.
Together with the head of the NGA department, Dr. Elisabeta Zelinka, Mr. Wuria Karadaghy invited all NGA students to start their application procedures for future collaboration with the UNO, Bishkek KG, especially in the department of UNDP.
