Career Fair 2014

On March 12^th and 13^th more than 1000 students and alumni took part in a Career Fair at AUCA

The career fair was held by the USAID-supported Career Continuing Education Center of AUCA. FINCA Microfinance and Demir Kyrgyz International Bank sponsored this event. Informational support was provided by AIESEC, “United Career Center” social program and career centers from other universities.

The event completely lived up to its slogan, “Action, Motion and Drive.” More than 35 companies and organizations, over 600 students and alumni of Bishkek universities and an interactive format made the first day of the Fair both memorable and useful. The “Employer vs. Job Applicant” battle contributed to better understanding and communication from both sides. Company reps gave master classes notable for their creative and urgent approaches to successful career building. The open dialogue formats of the presentations of several organizations were dynamic, informative and interesting. Students’ relationships with the businesses that presented at the career fair will grow into internships, practical trainings, interviews and job placements.

More than 1000 students received information about opportunities, became familiar with employers and took part at Fair’s diverse programs.
