Mira Dzhakshylykova graduated from AUCA in 2021 with a degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and International and Comparative Politics. Upon graduation, she went on to pursue her Master's degree in a joint Master’s program on Water Cooperation and Diplomacy.

AUCA Spelling Bee 2023
On March 10, 2023, the WARC and the New Generation Academy conducted the first university-wide trilingual Spelling Bee. Twenty-three finalists fought hard for the top honors, with the judge panel chaired by Dean of Student Affairs Michal Freese.

Eco competition among students and schoolchildren of Kyrgyzstan Sustainable Art & Design "From garbage to Art"
The Center for Civic Engagement of the American University in Central Asia (AUCA) is pleased to announce a creative competition among young people aged 14-30 years, dedicated to environmental protection, waste management (waste collection, recycling), upcycling, popularization of eco-conscious behavior, eco-habits in everyday life.

AUCA will raise the voices of the community through podcasts
Three days from March 3 to March 5, 2023, 23 selected students and teachers began learning podcasting from basics to production. Project “AUCA Podcast Sprint - AUCA Voices'' was announced and organized by Tynymgul Eshieva, Assistant Professor of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications, with the support of the OSUN EHCN Project Development Grant.

Aslan Alparov: "I enjoyed the sense of community and support that was present at AUCA. It allowed me to develop both academically and personally"
Aslan Alparov is an AUCA alumnus who graduated in 2021 with a degree in Applied Geology. Aslan is now pursuing his Master’s degree in Geological Science at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. At the same time, he works as a Field Geologist at the SSR Mining company.
