On November 30, 2012, AUCA’s Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) and Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU) named after K.I. Skryabin hosted a Conference on Food Security and Land Resources under a Changing Climate – Issues of Adaptation.  The Conference took place at the newly refurbished Science Library at KNAU.

Research Workshop
 
The Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) of the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) has recently organized an informal Research Workshop titled "Protecting Rights of Kyrgyz Labor Migrants: Identifying Key Challenges" to launch the TSPC’s new project “Protecting the Rights of Kyrgyz Migrants: Utilizing policy analysis, public outreach, and stakeholder dialogue to mobilize action toward reform” supported by the Open Society Foundation Central Eurasia Project. The workshop was held September 13, 2012, at the AUCA.

On November 14 AUCA hosted a free workshop entitled “5 myths of film production” which was conducted by Alexander Tsay and AUCA alumnus, Stepan Golovash, co-creators of the film “Bishkek, I love you”.
