On October 25, 2023, Business School at AUCA welcomed Samantha Salvatori, Assistant Director of International Recruitment at University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Business School organized a meeting with its staff and faculty and also with AUCA President Timothy O’Connor to discuss other potential areas of cooperation.

 

On October 23, 2023, the International and Comparative Politics (ICP) department, in collaboration with the President’s Office at AUCA, launched the “Ambassador Talks” Series, which became the first guest lecture series with distinguished Ambassadors to the Kyrgyz Republic.

On October 24, Anne Seshadri, the Public Diplomacy Office Director of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA), visited the AUCA campus. During her visit, she met with Dr. Timothy O'Connor, AUCA President, and discussed the value of educating young leaders of the region and the world for AUCA remaining on the Top universities in Central Asia.

AUCA Development Office team and Human Rights Fellows in the framework of the AUCA Fellowship Program for Rights and Justice Practitioners attended the conference “Freedom of Academia In and Out: Social Sciences and Humanities in the Time of Geopolitical Crises”  held in Yerevan State University 

On October 19-20, 2023 AUCA hosted a training event on “Managing Electronic Resources” for 30 representatives of universities and public libraries from all over Kyrgyzstan. 

On Sunday, Oct 15, 2023 AUCA held an event dedicated to the Ihub Startup Launch, where hundreds of people gathered for the presentation of the innovative educational marketplace iHub. All the event guests had an opportunity to access exclusive knowledge and guidance from experts in the education sector.

 " CORUSUS Project: Enhancing Rural Sustainability Across Continents" From May 15-29, in a groundbreaking initiative, AUCA Professors  Cholpon Turdalieva and Ruslan Rakhimov embarked on a Rural Research Expedition at Wits University in South Africa as part of the CORUSUS Project.
