The American University of Central Asia announces its inaugural art exhibition TOPOGRAFICA, an examination of the socio-cultural landscape of Central Asia

QS University Rankings rated AUCA No. 1 in Kyrgyzstan and No. 106 among EECA countries. The worldwide ranking service noted AUCA No. 1 in academic reputation and faculty-student ratio in Kyrgyzstan, as well as Kyrgyzstan’s leading educational institution in the categories of “Natural Sciences” and “Arts & Humanities”.

The American University of Central Asia announces its inaugural art exhibition TOPOGRAFICA, an examination of the socio-cultural landscape of Central Asia through the work of over twenty-five artists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the United States.

Begimai Sataeva is an alumna of the Journalism and Mass Communications Program class of 2015. At AUCA, Begimai worked with on several social initiatives, was a correspondent for several different international media agencies, and worked in the AUCA communications office. She is currently living in Warsaw, Poland, working as a journalist.

Begaiym Esenkulova, an Assistant Professor of the AUCA International and Business Law Department, conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany from May to August, 2015.

Azim Tilekov, a junior in the Business Administration program, spent his spring 2015 semester at the Kyung Hee University in South Korea. Azim shares his thoughts about life and education in South Korea.

The study was conducted by Tian Shan Policy Center of the American University of Central Asia, AUCA expert Medet Tuilegenov and independent parliamentary experts Gulmira Mamatkerimova, Kurmanbek Turdaliev and Akylbek Sarbagyshov in the framework of the programme "Strengthening the effectiveness of the political factions in Kyrgyzstan" implemented by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
