Duane Lacey: "AUCA students are intellectually curious"
Associate Professor of Philosophy Duane Lacey currently teaches in the FYS Division. In the near future, he will also be teaching in the new L.L.M. Graduate Program. AUCA alumni developed a mobile app promoting CA handicrafts
On February 21, 2016, AUCA alumni Begimai Sataeva and Nursultan Sulaimanov will present their social entrepreneurship project in the finals of an IT competition in Barcelona. The young businessmen developed ARTASIAN.co, a mobile application promoting handicrafts by Central Asian artisans in foreign countries.

“4+1” educational program
This fall, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) will launch a new “4+1” educational program. After studying four years at AUCA and getting a diploma, AUCA graduates of Business Administration will be able to apply to the “4+1” program to continue their education abroad.

"Earthquake preparedness" training
On February 16, 2016, from 1 to 3 pm, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan will hold "Earthquake preparedness" training at AUCA. The training will cover how one should behave in the event of an earthquake and how to protect oneself and one’s family in the best way possible.
